The Faculty offers the following MRes and MPhil by Advanced Studies (taught) courses, which are examined in various ways:

MPhil in Micro- and Nanotechnology Enterprise
MPhil in Scientific Computing (as a stand-alone course or as the first year of the CDT in Compuational Methods for Materials Science)

MRes in Physical Sciences: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (only offered as an integral part of the CDT in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology)
