A candidate who has failed to obtain the qualification for which they were a candidate, or has failed a progress examination, has recourse to the University's Review Regulations and, in the case of MPhil students (some or all of whose examinations take place within a fixed timetable), to the regulations governing examination allowances. An explanation of these procedures can be found here.
If a candidate seeks a Review of an examination for which you have been an examiner, the Degree Committee may invite you to respond to the submission made by, or on behalf of, the candidate.
